Collaboration Overview
About Students

This course is typically taken by 3rd year college students. This is an introductory Human Resource Management class and we are searching for a partner who would like us to explore current practices, policies, or problems within their organization to analyze, research, and recommend solutions.

Student Level:   Bachelor Degree

Student Time Commitment:   Full Time

Team Structure:   2 - 3

Program Goals
An ideal project will allow the students to:
  • Explore current HR practices within an organization
  • Analyze a problem or opportunity
  • Research possible solutions to the problem or opportunity
  • Recommend a course of action
For example, students could review an existing but outdated policy, performance evaluation document, onboarding program, etc., and make recommendations for improvement. Alternatively, if the organization is experiencing problems (attendance, morale, turnover, etc.), the students could explore the company culture and investigate opportunities to help the organization improve. All projects must be HR-related, but these students are not HR experts. This is a learning and research opportunity for them.
