Project Title Project 1 Develop A Proposal Of Ways Us Government Agencies Can Leverage Best Practices Used By Us Companies To Recruit And Develop Talent
Project Synopsis

What is the challenge or opportunity you are trying to address within your organization?

Collaboration goals: Project 1 team will engage in design thinking process (Gibbons; 2016) to respond to the request for proposals (RFP) from the client, C Evans Consulting. Objectives: Achievement of Human Resource Management (HRM) course learning outcomes (objectives): (1.) Identify and analyze challenges faced by diverse group of people inside modern formal organizations (3.) Apply design thinking to address individual, group, and organization level issues (4.) Collaborate and perform effectively on diverse teams (5.) Communicate strategically and professionally based on purpose and target audience Key Milestones:
  • Establish RFP details: communicate as a team and with the client to understand the RFP and define the issue/topic (empathize, define stages of design thinking)
  • Draft prototype proposal: brainstorm ideas based on quality and evidence-based sources, create prototype, present to client for feedback (ideate, prototype, test stages of design thinking)
  • Create proposal: implement feedback to create proposal that meets the client's needs, present to client in suitable media/mode
