| Project Title | Propose A Strategy For Digital Transformation In A Multi National Corporation Headquartered In Japan |
| Project Synopsis |
What is the challenge or opportunity you are trying to address within your organization?
Across the globe, the COVID crisis rapidly re-shaped the 'what' and the 'how' of companies operate. With a vast portion of the workforce now remote, most every aspect of how work gets done has increased reliance on digital technologies. And where digital transformation was at once a 'wish list' item in a broader strategic agenda, it has quickly moved to the forefront of problem-solving efforts and the attention of corporate executives.
At Hioki Corporation, digital transformation efforts that were already underway are being assessed and prioritized as is the company's and employer's relationships to digital technology. The current project asks students to consider what are the most effective strategies for Hioki Corporation to facilitate digital transformation and make actionable recommendations for change. To accomplish this, student will be organized into the following themes: 1) system-wide change management, 2) investment in digital transformation initiatives, 3) risk, compliance and security, and 4) managing digital transformation in a multi-generational workforce.
What are some of the activities or action items you think will need to be taken to achieve your desired results? What would make this project a success for your organization? What measurable results are you looking to accomplish? |
