About the Students and Program
Graphic Design and Media Arts II introduces principles of producing film as well as video and animation techniques. A variety of software packages for video and animation will be introduced.  Lectures, demonstrations, and creation of industry standard deliverables will be used for instruction. The focus is on camera use, filming, editing, and animation with criticism, presentation, analysis of projects and portfolio development. This course also includes working with an industry partner through a Capsource project. 
About Program Goals
Project Goals
We are looking for a storyboarding, video or animation project. We have worked through Capsource with industry partners Iconic Candy, Reserve Bar and Packdash. 
ART DEPARTMENT GRAPHIC DESIGN STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES: 

1.     Students will become proficient with multiple interactive based software packages. 

2.     Students will demonstrate artistic use of these tools through assigned projects 

3.     Students will critically analyze their work and demonstrate this through critique and revision. 

4.     Students will understand the societal and artistic issues that underpin Interactive Media as an art form
