SAM is a non-profit organization composed of local soccer organizations with the main purpose of promoting soccer and improving access to programs, facilities, and free play soccer opportunities. Its members include the University of Montana soccer team, Missoula Strikers, FC Missoula Soccer Club, Missoula Surf Soccer Club, Missoula YMCA, Peas Farm Old Boys and numerous other groups that offer organized programs or places for free play soccer.  SAM wants Missoula to be a model community on how intertwining organized soccer with free play soccer can develop better soccer players, build healthy lifestyles for underserved populations, and build communities across various divides.
